Dedication
Well, I may or may not be going to the One Stop Shop Conference. I really really want to go but financial woes might not allow me. On the other hand, GQ of Mizfit Soundz came over my crib yesterday. We chopped it up a bit. I told him, it’d be a great idea to go to this event because its one of the most major ones. He agreed and said that he knows a couple people going. So, like the motivator I am asked him to ask them do they need help paying for the room.
I’ll chip in, even if I got to sleep on the floor. I just want to be there. It would provide some major changes to my career.
Oh, the real reason I was posting this. Speakerboxin is coming back in June and as of tomorrow, you can count the god in. I got robbed last time but this time, that shit is NOT happening again. I already got 3 of my 10 beats picked out. I played them for GQ and he went nuts, so I’m looking good. He basically told me, “You make a couple more of those and you got that shit”. So yeah, I’m going in.
Went E-Digging currently listening to some joints. I already made something earlier. I should be going out digging tomorrow and maybe I’ll cop some gems but from now til June 5th, every paycheck (which is every week for me) I’ll be getting $15 worth of records, starting next week.
