I’m not supposed to be blogging right now. I’m not even supposed to be working on “Dreams of An Insomniac” right now. What am I supposed to be doing you ask? The answer is simple.

But unfortunately, I’m sitting here blogging and listening to this slow mixtape I made. Speaking of slow jam mixtapes, make sure there are no motherfucking shout outs on yo shit before you turn them shits on. Nothing fucks with the mood more than hearing “Peace to DJ (Insert lame ass name here)”. I was reading a post at http://www.theddiaries.com from my homie, Danielle about playlist. The one she had up was on point. Ya’ll should go read that now.
I’m thinking about all the times I had sex to music. I’ve had sex to some wild shit, b. Fam-Lay mixtapes, Wu shit, a gang of my beats, just a bunch of shit. A lot of it was just accidental. You really think I’d just turn on 36 Chambers and get busy? Don’t answer that.
Anywho, it got me wondering. Is music really effective during sex? Like, do you really need the shit? I swear, b, I had the illest tape today in the background. Shorty just woke up like “no thanks” and went right back to sleep!
Now, a couple of ya’ll might have some smart shit to say. But this aint no flossie, ho, side chick or something. This is my girl, b. We live together. I know her like I know the Boss Sp 505. But I’m seeing patterns. This aint the first time it happened either.
Most men would be pissed about not fucking. I’m not. I’m more concerned with, “Did she hear the music?”. I’m thinking about doing a study. Women, Music, and Sex; is music really a factor?
Me personally, I gotta be in the mood for music. Some nights I just want everything off so I can enjoy the music her and I make together. Some nights I want to dig in the crates and put on something slow. Some nights I hear a song and I just want to fuck.
How do ya’ll feel? Same way? Music, no music? Or it don’t matter long as you hitting the skins, huh?
