Tatted Up Pt. 2

Last night Saturday, My girlfriend and I threw a tattoo party. It turned out pretty well. A lot of people came through and got some work done. Meanwhile I got drunk and fucked around in the studio but that’s another story. Long story short, I had to wait til last night to get my tattoo. By the way, 2 shots of Barcardi and 4 shots of Grey Goose had me zoning last night or so I heard lol.

I know I posted something about getting my tattoo up here before. I didn’t think that it would be this soon. It was kind of spur of the moment. I wanted to stick to the theme I picked in the original “Tatted Up” post. So about 3 weeks ago, I went hunting for images that I wanted.

Now the most important part of this particular tattoo was the angel/woman. I wanted something kind of anime ish to give my tattoo a fresh look. I didn’t want it to be too dark or too innocent. So I wind up picking this one.

The other important image was the drum machine/sampler. I know originally, I said it was going to be the Boss Sp 505. But I picked the MPC 2000xl instead. Nothing against my  Boss or anything like that. It was just easier to get the MPC drawn correctly.

I was supposed to get music notes but after seeing it drawn out the first time, I didn’t like it very much. I was still going to get it but everyone else began agreeing with me. So no music notes. But this is what I got on my arm.

And this is my arm.

I guess after this I’ll get some more added to it. I already have ideas for drawing Melody’s (my tattoos name) sister on my other arm. We’ll see.

Oh yeah, before I forget. It just symbolizes that music pretty much is my saving graced and saved my life.  I know thats a weird way of doing it/looking at it but hey, I’m Malcolm Maximillion, what did you expect?
