At What Price
Twitter is the devil! It seems like nowadayz I can’t get shit done because I’m on Twitter. I’ll be typing a paper and think, I should check Twitter real quick. I’ll be about to make a phone call and think, I should check Twitter real quick.
Well guess what. I’m laying off Twitter. Not quiting it by any means. Just gonna stop checking it hardbody.
Remember Myspace? I do. When I first made one I used to be on that shit allllllll the time. Now, I can’t stand Myspace. I’m begining to see Twitter take the same route.
Myspace got lame because after the incarnation of Music Myspaces, everyone was a fucking musician. Then you have underaged children doing exactly what you’d expect them to do with a social networking site.
At first Twitter was a place I can say my random thoughts and share ideas. Now its becoming a promotional tool for artists. Which is great but half of these motherfuckers aint doing shit because they on Twitter all the time.
Sadly, I’m one of them. That shit stops today!

i do find twitter to be a distraction. But what kind of distraction depends on who you have on your time line really. I limit artist to those who’s musical talents i appreciate and respect. Everyone else falls into five categories, good writers, funny people, real life friends, sexual deviants, and celebs. and there is some over lap with some people. Twitter keeps me entertained when work is slow, but when i get wrapped up in a trending topic, or heated debate it can consume time. SO yea i respect your choice to be easy. And don’t worry Twitter will fall back like myspace and facebook did, as soon as something new comes along…
