New Wu
It was a cold and rainy night last night. The past couple days everything hasn’t been so great. I woke up yesterday and felt a different energy.
For some odd reason, everything started working for me. Don’t know why. I had a test in biology and it was stupid easy. Then I got to math class and the professor gave us a take home test. That was 5:45pm.
After that I realized, Raekwon was having an instore at Sound Garden. A friend told me it started at 5:30pm. I called Sound Garden immediately after we got that take home test to see if Raekwon was there. “Rae isn’t hear yet” is what she replied. I had some time!
Now, Sound Garden is about 5 miles southwest from my school and I don’t have a car. Also, keep in mind it’s raining and cold as fuck. I had to catch the subway and walk 1.5 miles to Sound Garden. As I got around the corner, I heard someone shriek. Rae was in the building.
I walked in Sound Garden expecting to see a big ass line. Quite the contrary, it was not a big ass line no where near it. I counted about 5 people and I didn’t even see the chef. I thought maybe he left. Then as I looked ahead, I saw the god on the phone. Yes, I walked past Raekwon!
I didn’t see either copy of OBFCL or OBFCL2. They put them motherfuckers on the side! As I grabbed to and ran to the counter, Raekwon was leaving. Seeing that he was still on the phone, I didn’t bother him. But, the lady behind the counter and his bodyguard was nice enough to stop him. A Sound Garden associate opened my cds and yes, Raekwon signed both of them in the rain on some Stan shit.
I wish dude wasn’t on the phone though. I kinda wanted to tell him about this project I’ve been working on for the last 2 months. Anyway, it’s a remix album and its coming soon. Heres a sneak peek.
Still lame that I couldn’t see him last Thursday. Need more material for the blog.
