My Radio Is A Millionaire

Today is my birthday. I turn 21 as of 9:07am. I feel the same way I felt yesterday lol.

I meant to do this post like Friday but I kinda was occupied doing other shit. So here it is.

During this time of the year I usually come into large lump sums of money. I don’t really be knowing what the hell I’m gonna do with it all. This year though since I pretty much got all my money around the time of my birthday, I decided to trick off on myself. Here’s the catch though, I’m only buying stuff for my home studio until my studio is complete.

Here is what it looks like now

I know, junky as fuck, right? Well I just got the monitors and I had to move the desk around to put them right there. Plus, I’m always doing homework and writing in here so that explains all the papers lying around. But here are the following items I’m getting to finish up my studio.

Lets start off with the furniture. Shall we?

1.) A Desk Cart
-Yes, this had to be first on the list. Remember when mine keep breaking? I figure if I get a computer cart, it’ll give me a lot more room and won’t fuck up as much.

2.) A leather chair
-What sense would it make to get a desk and not a chair? None. I want a leather office type joint. Some shit that’s comfortable but not comfortable enough for me to fall asleep in. After all I still need to get work done, right?

3.) MPC Stand/Holder
-I get sick of having to get up and play with the MPC. To be lazy I’m going to get I already ordered a stand with wheels. So not only will it hold my MPC in place but I can move it to me. Score one for Millionaire!

4.) Bookshelves
-I need something besides an ironing board to hold my monitors on. I know, I’m ghetto as hell. Anyway, I could use the storage from the bookshelves to put my records in so I won’t have to get up from my comfortable ass chair. So this is another win!

4.2) Monitor Stands
-After further reviewing getting the bookshelves jumping off, I just though why not get monitor stands? It should be a lot easier and I can adjust them to my ear. So I’ll still get the book shelves but I’m probably gonna sit the monitors on monitor stands after all. We’ll see.

5.) Keyboard Stand
-I’m probably gonna see somewhere to put the keyboard after I get the cart. So I figure I can score a nice compact keyboard stand. Probably something with addable tiers just in case I get another keyboard which is looking real probable these days.
